Pottery

So, one of the things I decided to do this winter to stay sane is to take up pottery again. I haven't made anything in almost 20 years, but had my first class this last Tuesday. I don't think I did TOO bad! Actually, my first bowl turned out the best... then it got worse from there! Here is a picture of me holding my prized first creation. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished. You know, I do a lot of photography, but photography is more of a "capture" than a "create." I really feel the need to "create," even if it's just creating my life.
